In my practice, colour has often been restrained, yet here the city shapes the palette. Bright coastal light meets the soft arrival of storms, reflecting Cape Town’s famed four seasons in a day. Each photograph navigates this tension between calm and motion, stillness and energy revealing how the urban landscape and locals dance a delicate balance in between. By embracing these contrasts, the series captures the city’s fleeting moods, the subtle dialogues between the grounding waters and human presence.
